Steve has recently joined the Ireland Presentations team to support our clients growing needs for technical service and support of their conferences, tradeshows and user group events.  His technical expertise of hardware, software and networking, along with his "can do" attitude, strong work ethics and friendly demeanor make him a perfect fit to our group.
                                       
Steve's ability to direct a team and offer cost saving suggestions has proven invaluable over the years. His leadership skills, project management and reporting abilities, combined with his knack for developing strong business relationships with team members, employees and vendors has also assisted in lowering costs and increasing productivity. That said, Steve brings excellent communication skills, strong customer focus, and technical savvy to the forefront each and every day and is a true asset to Ireland Presentations and their clients.

His 12 year career with Sun Microsystems included Technical Support Manager, Technical Support Engineer and Marketing Support Manager. While at Sun, Steve successfully orchestrated and delivered hundreds of events in his role as Technical Event Manager for JavaOne 2004-2008, ITU Telecom Geneva 1999, SuperComputing, Oracle OpenWorld, NAB and multiple product launches and corporate user conferences.

Steve graduated in 1983 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business Management. Prior to Sun, he was a successful Corporate Systems Engineer and Channel Sales representative at Progress Software.
