Joanne Ireland, with over 20 years broad experience, is one of San Francisco's leading consultants in planning, coordination, and management of conferences, meetings, and special events.
As Founder and President of Ireland Presentations since 1987, Joanne and her team have been responsible for the orchestration and delivery of special event projects, working with non-profits, small organizations, large corporations on local, national, and international levels and private individuals.
With a business background in administration, marketing and business development, Joanne brings strategic planning and implementation skills to event planning, supporting corporate events as a key part of a company’s marketing, sales and public relations programs.
Her organizational expertise includes: design and management of project standards and content, conceptualization and design of project strategy, and management and contractual negotiations with outside contractors and vendors. She is also instrumental in the development and tracking of budgets, timelines and scheduling, as well as the coordination and management of project team members to assure smooth and efficient implementation of the project. She serves as the primary liaison for the project team with the client and all vendors.
Her extensive project experience includes non-profit galas and auctions, conferences, seminars and training programs, corporate meetings, executive retreats, trade and study tours, trade shows, user group meetings and company celebrations.
Joanne successfully incorporated Ireland Presentations with the State of California in January 2000.
In March 2004, Joanne’s business accomplishments were recognized when she was chosen as a finalist for the prestigious Trailblazer Award, presented by the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). She has been an active member and past Director of the Rotary Club of San Francisco since 1989 and is a current member of Meeting Planners International (MPI). She is currently on the Board of Directors of Youth Matters, Inc., which will bring resources and assistance to people around the world who have different circumstances but similar hopes and visions. Joanne has been highly recognized for the generous volunteer efforts of herself and staff and her own active committee involvement in the planning and facilitation of many events for these and other community service organizations.
Joanne is also co-author and facilitator of a workshop titled “Marketing Consulting Services through Seminars” and has been a guest speaker for several professional associations on the topic of marketing services and products through seminars and other special events. In addition, Joanne has been interviewed and quoted in many industry specific and event-related publications. |
