Joanne Ireland is one of San Francisco's leading consultants with over 20 years broad experience in planning, coordination, and management of conferences, meetings, and special events.
As Founder and President of Ireland Presentations since 1987, Joanne leads a team that has successfully orchestrated and delivered special event projects, working on local, national, and international levels with large corporations, small organizations and non-profits.
With a business background in administration, marketing and business development, Joanne brings strategic planning and implementation skills to event planning, supporting corporate events as a key part of a company’s marketing, sales and public relations programs.
Her organizational expertise includes: design and management of project standards and content, conceptualization and design of project strategy, and management and contractual negotiations with outside contractors and vendors. She is also instrumental in the development and tracking of budgets, timelines and schedules, as well as the coordination and management of project team members to ensure smooth and efficient implementation of the project. She serves as the primary liaison for the project team with the client and vendors.
Her extensive project experience includes corporate and customer meetings, conferences, tradeshows, user group meetings, seminars and training programs, executive retreats, company celebrations and non-profit galas and auctions.
In March 2004, Joanne’s business accomplishments were recognized when she was chosen as a finalist for the prestigious Trailblazer Award, presented by the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). She has been an active member and past Director of the Rotary Club of San Francisco since 1989 and is a current member of Meeting Planners International (MPI) and IATA. She is currently on the Board of Directors of Youth Matters, Inc., a non-profit organization bringing together the youth of America and the world. Joanne has been highly recognized for the generous volunteer efforts of herself and her staff, as well as for her own active committee involvement in the planning and facilitation of many events for these and other community service organizations.
Joanne is co-author and facilitator of a workshop entitled “Marketing Consulting Services through Seminars” and has been a guest speaker for several professional associations on the topics of event planning and marketing services and products through seminars and other special events.
