Jackie Romney


Jackie Romney, part of the Ireland Presentations team since 1998, has in excess of 20 years experience planning and managing meetings and special events. Her project management expertise focuses on administering and supervising events from design through execution.

Jackie’s experience includes such prestigious positions as the Associate Director of Development, Event Programs for the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. There she was responsible for designing, managing and developing six major annual fundraisers. Additionally a Project Manager for the San Francisco Symphony for eight years, Jackie was responsible for the logistical planning, design, and implementation and fiscal management of major events including the 1993, 1995, and 1997 Black & White Balls. This event attracts more than 10,000 participants each year and is one of the largest fundraisers for the arts in the United States. Other Symphony events Jackie has directed and organized include annual Gala Openings, Fantasy Auctions, and holiday events.

Jackie’s resume also includes event planning and volunteer coordination for the American Cancer society; design management and implementation of all events, conferences, and meetings for Price Waterhouse (San Francisco) ranging in size from 20 to 800 people; and planning and execution of KPMG international meetings and conferences.
